Overflow

About Overflow

Built by practitioners, not a sales team.

Overflow exists so the people who grow through genuine relationships — coaches, consultants, course creators, and healers — can reach the clients who need them without becoming someone they’re not.

How Overflow came to be

Overflow started with burnout.

Joseph’s book, Soulforce, had just come out — three awards, real momentum. So he did the thing you’re supposed to do: hired a well-known business coach and followed the playbook. Constant social posts. Cold outreach to organizations. Chasing the podcast circuit. Ads, free classes, offer after offer. He did everything he was told.

Almost none of it worked. And the parts that might have — the relentless self-promotion, the subtle manipulations, the half-truths dressed up as marketing — felt like a betrayal of everything he actually stood for. Doing them didn’t just exhaust him; it drained something deeper, because it wasn’t who he was. He burnt out, hard.

Then, in 2025, as AI became genuinely capable, he asked it a simple question: could this help with my visibility problem? His ideal clients — musicians struggling with tension and injury — weren’t hard to find on Instagram. Reaching them by hand was just impossibly slow. Could the outreach be automated without becoming the very thing he’d burnt out on?

That question became Overflow. Many iterations later, it’s a genuinely capable tool for warm outreach: it finds the right people, qualifies them against your ideal client, engages with their work, and drafts a message in your voice — with your approval on every send. The outreach you’d run if you had unlimited time and cared about every person you reached.

There’s a lot of noise in the world right now, and a lot of chaos.

The people best equipped to bring a little more peace, sanity, and healing to it — coaches, healers, consultants, course creators, teachers — are so often the ones who go unheard, because the tools built to get you heard ask you to become someone you’re not. Overflow exists to change that: to give the people doing good work a way to be found and fill their calendars, with their integrity fully intact.

A note from Joseph Arnold, Founder & CEO

I didn’t come from marketing. I came from the arts — professional violinist, Alexander Technique teacher, author. When I needed to build a client pipeline, I tried the tools that existed. They all asked me to become someone I wasn’t.

So I built the tool I actually needed: one that automates the research and the workflow, but keeps my voice and my judgment in the loop. Comment on their content first. Follow. Then reach out — only after I’ve shown up as a real person.

That’s what Overflow does. It’s the outreach process you’d run ideally, at a scale you couldn’t sustain manually.

A note from Itamar Meimon, Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Architect

My career has always centered on the intersection of finance, technology, and data. As a CFO of a start-up who has also navigated the fast-paced world of larger fintech companies, I’ve seen how hard it is to connect with clients, no matter your expertise. My mortgage consulting business proved that for major financial decisions, trust must be established first. Since value isn’t visible in advance, traditional outreach felt like an uphill battle.

I wanted to scale without the burnout of social-media “selling.” I needed precision that preserved my personality. I joined Joseph as a co-founder of Overflow because it bridges the gap between AI efficiency and the authentic connection needed to build trust — before guiding my clients through their most significant milestones.

Why we’re the ones to build this

We’re not a sales team that spotted a market — we’re two of the people this is for. Joseph is a violinist and Alexander Technique teacher; Itamar built a boutique mortgage-consulting practice. We’ve both had to fill our own calendars in relationship-based fields the big outreach platforms overlook, and we’ve felt exactly why their tools don’t fit.

And it’s a market those big platforms have overlooked. Professional coaching alone is now more than 122,000 practitioners and over $5 billion in revenue worldwide — one slice of a creator and knowledge economy heading toward half a trillion dollars. The tools built for outreach, from Apollo to Clay, were made for corporate sales teams, not for the millions of people who earn their living through trust.

That’s why Overflow does the whole job, not a slice of it: it covers five of the six steps of outreach — from finding the right person to following up — where most tools do just one. And it’s working: across our beta users, campaigns average around a 15% reply rate, roughly four times the typical cold-outreach benchmark.

What we believe

That outreach can be honest. That reaching the right twenty people beats blasting two thousand. That technology should amplify your values instead of compromising them — and that all flourishing is mutual.

Read the manifesto

Grow your practice without becoming someone you’re not.

For investors

A large, overlooked market — and the only tool built for it.

The market

Millions of relationship-based solopreneurs worldwide — coaches of every niche, consultants, course creators, and high-ticket health, financial, and clinic specialists — whose ideal clients are all over Instagram, and whom the volume tools ignore. Coaching alone is 122,000+ practitioners and $5.3B; a defensible TAM well into the billions a year.

The wedge

The only tool running the whole warm-outreach pipeline — discovery, AI qualification, warm-up, personalized DM, and follow-up — for a segment Apollo and Clay were never built to serve.

Early signal

Beta campaigns average a ~15% reply rate — about four times the cold benchmark; founder campaigns run north of 20%.

Founder-market fit

We are the customer — a violinist and a mortgage consultant — selling into communities we belong to, with a product that finds its own ideal clients.
